About This Listing

This is a vintage 1988 G&L L-2000 Bass in Excellent Condition. I have owned it since 1990. It has a multitude of tones and circuitry and I have kept it in the hardshell case in a smoke free home. Here are the specs:

* Vintage 1988 (2nd owner)* Long Scale Bass * Made in USA, (Fullerton CA) on Fender Avenue* Active  Electronics* 1 volume, 1 treble cut, 1 bass cut* Hard Rock Maple Body & Neck (bolt on)* Steel Truss Rod* Super thin / Vintage narrow C (1-1/2" nut width)* Neck angle adjustment screw (allen key tool)^^ must loosen neck bolts and string tension before adjusting) ^^* Rosewood Fretboard* Humbucker Pickups
* Gloss Polyurethane Finish* Metal Cover Plates*
* Vorsen faux leather strap* Hardshell Case Included

It is set up professionally, functioning properly and plays really nice. A few dents in the poly finish but not much for a 30 year old bass! It has the signature G&L factory "birthmark" (on the back of the headstock there is a 1/8" dowel plug under the finish) The "birthmark" is only on the USA G&L's. There is a little bit of chrome plating missing from the knobs. I will package it properly and ship anywhere in the continental US - Scott
