The Misa Tri-Bass is a touch sensitive guitar-like midi controller. The body and neck are made of solid wood. The touch screen lets you control multiple synths or sounds simultaneously. The neck has 3 "strings" with each fret being a touch sensitive trigger. Feels like a real guitar.
There are so many different ways this thing can be used and it is such a unique instrument. See for yourself on their website and check out youtube videos of it in action. The guitar itself does not make any sound of it's own, it needs to be connected to a sound generator like a synthesizer or computer.
This would be a monster for live electronic music, it has such a unique look on stage.
