Blues Angel Music is proud to present this beautiful Vintage 1978 Yamaha SL380 Sunburst!  This guitar sports a pair of PAF-copy humbuckers, and the more sought-after "Open-Book" style headstock! This guitar is in Good to Very Good cosmetic condition, and excellent playing Condition!  Neck is straight and frets show only light wear.  There are various signs of wear typical of a guitar nearly 40 years old, such as light corrosion on hardware, dings, scratches, buckle rash, etc.  Weighs in at 8.96 lbs.  This is a players guitar, more for playing than admiring, although it's a looker as well! Studio Lords were much more than Yamaha’s copies of you-know-what, these were solid quality guitars built from quality wood and materials.  As such they have stood the test of time, and although they weren’t produced in great numbers, some of them are still around and you can find them occasionally in good shape like this one. These Yamaha models were produced with two main types, the Lord Players (LP’s) and the Studio Lords (SL). Yamaha produced this model between 1976 - 1979.  Amazing sustain on this guitar despite its bolt on construction. The pickups can take wide range of music from Jazz, blues, Rock to Metal.  A very nice example of a killer guitar with all the vintage vibe you could hope for!
