Martin DM3MD - Dave Matthews Signature Model

I am the original owner of this guitar and have had it for close to 20 years. I don't think there has been a single person who has played it who hasn't said it's the best acoustic they have ever played. The tone, warmth, depth, and resonance of this guitar are magical.

Only 234 of these guitars were made. I have number 110. The DM3MD is a mix between an HD-28v and a D-35 with some unique appointments Martin has never done on any other guitars. The Engleman Spruce top has aged into a beautiful deep yellow. It has a half-herringbone border with red wood inlays around the top. This is truly a remarkable guitar in both tone and appearance.

I don't play as much as I used to and as a father of 3 (soon to be 4), I need the money for other things.

This guitar has been played over the years and shows signs of use. It's not a closet queen. There are a few small dings here and there and light scratches. Most of which occurred in the first few years I owned it. Most noticablly are a few on the bottom of the guitar where it was resting on my belt one time without me noticing right away.

There is a Fishman passive pickup underneath the saddle and an input jack were the bottom pin would go. Was installed by Martin before delivery to me years ago. I have the original strap pin for the bottom as well.
