"Tonika" Soviet Made Bass Guitar

The Tonika was the first Soviet made electric guitar that came out in the late 60's and this is the bass guitar version. Most likely made in the 70's. It features two single coil single magnet bass pickups and a five way selector switch that allows you to use the pickups one by one, or together both in and OUT of phase.  This is a very unique switching arrangement for a bass guitar and actually the same as on the Tonika electric guitar.

The bass is in very good condition, the neck is straight and the finish in good condition, all of the electronics have been recently cleaned and works perfectly. The frets are small vintage style frets but are not overly worn and actually quite level. It is rare to find a Soviet instrument in this condition as most a pretty beat up.

Comes with a brand new Thoman bass deluxe gigbag (value €20), original Soviet made strap as well as a 5 pin DIN connector that can be used to convert a regular instrument cable to fit this bass.

Has been imported to the EU and the VAT has been paid.
