EGC Scott Kelly Custom 2015 for Auction

Scott Kelly, founding vocalist and guitarist for the legendary band Neurosis, has been dealt a large financial blow due to a family illness. In order to help with the extra financial burdens related to medical costs during this time, we are auctioning off an EGC Scott Kelly Custom guitar featuring the prototype neck (EGC #911) made specifically for Scott. The neck has been cleaned up a little, but was played by Scott for awhile before he and Kevin worked on tweaking his current profile. Lace has also generously donated a set of their pickups made with signature covers specifically for Scott and this guitar. The regular retail price of the Scott Kelly Custom is $3,100.00usd, but we would love to get as much money to Scott and his family as possible, so please offer to give whatever you can afford. We want as much money as possible to go to the family, so we approached Reverb about setting up an auction and they graciously offered to donate their percentage of the sale and helped us set up this auction. All of the final sale price of the guitar will go to Scott.

The EGC Scott Kelly Custom is a hybrid aluminum-necked acrylic-bodied monster made for the sound of Neurosis. This instrument includes:

• Polished 24.75” scale aluminum neck with a large C-shaped profile (width: 1.75” at nut/2.25” at 22nd fret)

• Black dot inlays

• Symmetrical acrylic body (1.25” thick)

• Aluminum pickguard finished with matte black powder coating

• Aluminum rear resonator plate finished with industrial black wrinkle powder coating
