Need a new wiring harness for your guitar or bass, but don't have a "common" layout like a Strat, Tele, Les Paul, SG, P-Bass, or J-Bass?
What are you supposed to do if you need a professionally-built wiring control harness for an Ibanez, Yamaha, ESP, Steinberger, Gretsch, Reville, Rickenbacker, Mosrite, Carvin, or even a custom built instrument?
I build true bespoke pre-wired control harnesses using top quality components, made to your personal specs! You tell me what you want, where the components go, and how far apart everything is - and I take it from there. Normally, all I need is a photo of the instrument.
These assemblies typically start at $40. Contact me with your specs for an estimate. See example photos of recent custom builds!
** PLEASE - ensure you are aware of lead-time before ordering. Estimated Ship Date (under the Preorder button) shows current ETA, based on current custom order volume. YOUR custom build may vary even beyond that, depending on a variety of factors. I wil give you an estimate, at the time we discuss and finalize your build. **

*** BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS ITEM ***
Wait, so you'll build ANY wiring setup for $40??! How does this work?
No - the price of YOUR wiring job depends on what YOU need for your instrument.
Reverb isn't really set up for configurable listings - or things that may vary in price depending on options. So I have to pick a price for the listing. My wiring harnesses are priced by the components used in them - not the complexity of the job. If you've got a volume, a tone, a 3-way blade switch, a tone cap, and a jack - that harness is going to cost roughly the same ($45) whether it's a Telecaster, an Ibanez, or something you carved yourself from a fencepost.
If you've got something with 2 volumes, 2 tones, a 3-way toggle switch, 2 tone caps, and a jack (like a Les Paul), it's going to be roughly the same whether it's a Gibson, or a Charvel, or a clone.
If you've got a Les Paul Jr. type setup for example with just a Vol/Tone/Jack and no switch - that's actually only $35.
As such...
CONTACT ME before purchasing this item - so we can chat about exactly what you want, and I can quote you an exact price and ensure I have all required parts on hand. Once everything is agreed upon, I'll send you an "offer" for this listing specific to your harness.
(Note - if you do happen to need something for a more common guitar or bass, like a Strat, Tele, P-Bass, or J-Bass - I have separate listings for those. This listing is for the more oddball and completely custom stuff.)
I can make a wiring harness for anything - guitar, bass, lap steel, ukulele, cigar-box/shovel guitar, violin...whatever. More importantly - I can make it as weird as you need it to be. If you can think it (and it's electrically possible), I can wire it.
I can wire it up any way you want -- add push/pull's for coil tapping, killswitches, "VariTone" circuits, phase-switching, series/parallel-switching custom toggles, or anything you can think of.
Maybe you don't even know what you need yet? That's fine - I can help there too. Shoot me a message and I'll be happy to help guide you through the options to get you to your end goal.
Not super comfortable wiring up your pickups to pot lugs and switch terminals? No problem - I can pre-wire short wire leads for your pickups, and then you just splice (solder) your pickup wires to those. I even include heat-shrink tubing to cover the splice joint.
Not even comfortable with that level of soldering? Space allowing - I have a few different solderless terminal options available as well.
Or - ship me your pickups, I'll solder quick-connect mini plugs to your pickups and to the harness, and then you literally just plug it all in when you get it back.

"Can you build harnesses for Lefty instruments?"
Yes. Left-handed guitars and basses typically come from the factory with standard pots - just wired backwards. This is sadly true of even $xxxx Fenders and Gibsons. The result is that the audio taper runs the wrong direction, so the pots basically turn into on/off switches. I can certainly build any harness that way for a Lefty, at no extra charge over the cost of a Righty.
Or, typically for about +$10-$20, I can build any harness with true "Reverse Audio" taper pots. The result is a level of control you've likely never had in any of your left-handed instruments.

I've made hundreds of completely custom harnesses where all I had to start with was a photo of the control cavity - and I ship them all over the world! Contact me with details of what you're looking for and I'll quote you a cost on a custom assembly made to your personal specs!
As with all of my custom-built harnesses - satisfaction guaranteed, or send it back for a full refund. Check my Feedback - you won't be disappointed.
