Beautiful vintage 1976 Limited Edition 58' Reissue Gibson Explorer in amazing near 'mint' condition.
Serial number: 00230163
This is the highly sought after and collectible explorer reissue that gibson got right in 1976.
The guitar is 100% original and in excellent condition with some minor playing wear and minimal lacquer checking. There is a small spot on the top of the guitar where the lacquer has sunk into the grain, but this is a natural consequence of age and looks absolutely cool!
The guitar is all original with no issues, breaks or repairs.
The Bill Lawrence tarback humbuckers sound incredible and the 58' profile neck is a dream to play. Original frets are still in great condition too with plenty of life left in them.
This fine instrument is extremely light and so resonant when unplugged and sounds incredible when played through an amp.
Such a guitar can be seen in the hands of Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa and of course The Edge.
The guitar comes with a non original Gibson hard shell case which is in mint condition.
Definitely one for collectors or players. Such a special instrument!
Guitar will be shipped and fully insured using either Parcelforce or UPS Express service which usually takes 4-5 working days.
