Japanese produced ESP
Horizon. This is not an LTD model. Based on information emailed to me from ESP's
customer service department, this is a late 1990's (potentially 1997) produced
guitar based on the serial number. They said they could not narrow it
down any more than that due to inconsistent record-keeping over the years. ESP
said that the body was either made of Alder or Ash.
This guitar is in good
condition though it does have a couple of finish flaws to note. On the front of
the guitar there are a couple of dents in the clear finish, one by the
corner of the neck pickup & one on the lower horn of the guitar. There is
one along the back edge of the guitar by the input jack also. There is a scuff
along the top edge of the headstock sort of above the P in esp.
The
are 2 noticeable chips through the paint down to the wood to note also. One on
the lower horn on the back of the guitar (please see picture #10) and also one
next to next to/under the strap lock on the upper horn of the guitar (please
see picture #15).
This
guitar features 24 frets, a rosewood fretboard, an original Floyd Rose locking
tremolo & the ESP branded hardshell case. There are Dunlop Straplok strap
locks on the guitar now& I will include the other end of the strap locks in
the case of the guitar so that you can attach them to your favorite strap.
