Lucida Artista LG-715 "The Malaga" Handcrafted Spanish Classical.
Solid cedar soundboard, mahogany back, sides and neck. Rosewood fretboard and body binding. Ivoroid nut and saddle. This guitar was handcrafted in Spain and it shows. Fan-braced, traditional Spanish heel and neck joint. It comes with a hardcover case (worth $75 alone), though it is not original to the instrument. This guitar would be great for an intermediate or serious guitar student who wanted to step up from their 'beginner' guitar to a real instrument at a great value.
I got this guitar to fix its bridge, which had become detached during storage. With the bridge remounted, is it now in virtually "like new" condition. There is some very minor scuffing below the strings on the soundboard, though you have to look rather hard to find it, and a slight "milkiness" to the gloss finish on its back and parts of its sides, but neither effect the clear and resonant sound of this guitar.
The Malaga has fresh nylon strings on it and is ready to play.
I do not know the year this guitar was made. It used to list at $599.00, though this model is apparently discontinued by Lucida Guitars, you can still access their old page on it at the following link:
NOTE: Any white 'spots' or lines you see on the guitar in the attached photos are the result of reflected light, and are not pictures of damage or staining of any kind.
As previously stated, the guitar is almost like new. That being said, there is the very minor scuffing beneath the soundhole on the top and the cloudy finish on it's back and a bit on its sides. Full disclosure, so this guitar is sold AS IS.
