About This Listing

This is a very rare and great looking guitar dating from the later sixties and made in  Germany by Klira. It has a familiar shape to the body which has a vinyl patterned covering with an amazing design and a cream centre division. The scratchplate is black with chromed metal plate on either side of the scratchplate. There are three white pickups with pole pieces and chrome surrounds, each with a volume wheel control, and each with on/off switches on the left side - plus there is a rhythm/solo switch and an overall volume control.
The bridge is a type of tune-o-matic model and the tailpiece is a tremolo but missing its arm. The neck is bolted on and has beautiful darkwood striping and a 20 fret fingerboard with double dot markers; and the headstock has the truss rod cover and six on a side chrome covered tuners.
It shows a little fading to the vinyl on the back from normal use only, but this guitar is completely original, fully working and a good player.
