These were known also as the salt shaker microphone
They were made by Altec,northern electric and western electric
All the same mic and its from the 50's
The microphone was used on a few rock band vocal when they need a super crisp vocal
Super nice top end..and the low end is perfect when you sing super close to the mic ( lips on)
