Gibson L-7C Sunburst (NOS Condition) 1966 (s064)

Purchased from the original owner who was a Gibson dealer in the '70s and kept several pieces in unplayed/NOS condition for himself.
The guitar plays great with low action although it will need a neck reset in the future if further downward adjustability of the bridge is required.

This is a time capsule piece. It literally looks like a brand new guitar, but it’s over 50 years old. Includes black exterior and yello interior original hard shell case hangtag and case key.

Body: Spruce top with maple back and sides

Neck: Three-piece maple neck with a medium-round profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and split parallelogram inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Kluson Deluxe tuners, no electronics

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is unplayed and in like-new condition. This L-7C is simply gorgeous!

Playability: The guitar would benefit from a neck reset for optimum playability but the strings are at a medium-low action, play nicely, and ring out clearly across the board.
