These highly sought guitars were the first guitars made by Epiphone in the 1920s. They came in two sizes, with this one roughly a 00 size at 14" wide. They also came in models ranging from A to E, but all sound wonderful when properly set up. It is an X-Braced model.

This particular guitar is in excellent restored condition. Master Luthier Kerry Char (Portland, Ore.) provided a neck set and refret. It was also refinished to bring out the best in the birdseye maple back and sides. The tuners are all original banjo tuners that work as they should.

Body specs: 1.75" nut width, 2-5/16th at the saddle, 25 1/4" scale. Beautiful Adirondack spruce top with bear claw, laminated birdseye maple back and sides in beautiful condition, very nice neck in near perfect C- shape, etc. Action is set up for fingerstyle at 3/32" at both E strings. Takes a pick well, but I'm only a fingerstyle player. Video clips available upon request.

This is a very rare guitar in excellent condition. They are a favorite of Eric Schoenberg, among many others. Excels at swing, jazz and even blues.

Will ship in New Ameritage gold case or similar that fits perfectly.
