Folks, I am the OCD guy who handles his equipment with white gloves.  My disease is your treasure.

By all means the MR74 is revered as McIntosh Second in Line Flag Ship next to the MR78. Of the old school tuners, the MR78 can sell anywhere from $650 - $2200 depending if there has been a Richard Modafferi modification.  The MR74 is a great tuner.

My OCD does not allow me to call this DEAD MINT as I am the most critical when it comes to fingerprints, scratches, rubs etc.  However, if this passes my discretion, it will certainly pass yours.

Here is the 2nd in line to the Flag Ship MR78 which is the MR74 AM/FM Tuner that I think is in excellent condition.  Very minor scratches to the top that is hard to photograph. The glass is brand new, LED bulbs installed for a brighter faceplate, red tuner indicator bulb replaced and please note the following:

"I misplaced the original knobs and end caps when doing the upgrades, thus I made it match my current McIntosh equipment.  The end caps are newer modern ones and the knobs are all McIntosh with the exception of the center 3 knobs."
