What I have put up for grabs here is a 1986 Gibson Les Paul Junior. I recently acquired this beauty from a trade with a good friend. I've given it a go a couple times out, and it's great to play. However, the pick up is too clean for me. The story I've been given, and have researched on this guitar is an interesting one. This guitar was manufactured in Tennessee at Gibson's home base in the summer of 1986. This Les Paul Junior was possibly one of the first to come off the line when Gibson decided to reissue the Junior after almost 10 years. It came to Buffalo NY, has had 3 owners (myself being one of them), and has been here ever since. It was mainly played out during its early years, and became an at home, small gig guitar after that.
The guitar plays great and it set up with .09 strings nice and low. The strap nuts have been switched for locks, and the button behind the body traditionally was moved to the upper horn a long time ago. There are minor dings on the body, and the headstock has small visible cracks around the tuning pegs. Virtually no rash on the front or back of the guitar. The guitar does not come with the original case, and I believe it was lost quite a while ago from the people I've talked to.
Take a look, and get it while it's here. You have a chance to own a vintage guitar, at a great price! You don't see these come up for sale often, and I'm only moving it due to the fact that it doesn't fit me or my style. Best of luck.
