This is a genuine Gibson pickguard which came from an authorized service center luthier, I am unsure why it was removed or if it had just been sitting around the shop for a long time but it is not new. It is not flat but it can push it down easily and it will glue down fine. It is the flexible one that's the modern Gibson ones, not the older plastic ones.
It has some sort of sticky residue stuff in a few spots on the front which could be removed but I didn't want to mess with chemicals and damage the pickguard.
