Rawk D King of Blues Bluesbreaker Point To Point Clone Overdrive Booster Effects Pedal

The King of Blues is a point to point recreation of one the most famous overdrive pedals based on the Marshall Bluesbraker MKI. This is an incredibly dynamic overdrive featuring a metal can Raytheon RC4558 operational amplifier. The Boost/OD switch toggles between booster and overdrive mode. The overdrive mode is the stock Bluesbraker. In booster mode the clipping diodes are lifted, overall gain reduced, overall output increased and the effect becomes a super dynamic overdrive that stays clean when picking sofly and breaks up when digging in hard. The rest are the standard controls for Drive, Tone and Volume.

Features solid construction with high quality components throughout, carbon comp resistors, top-mounted Neutrik jacks and Lumberg DC power jack, Alpha pots and professional matte black powder coat finish with silver hand-painted lettering. Powered by a 9-volt battery or a standard 2.1mm center-negative 9V power supply. Comes securely bubbled wrapped in its storage box, loaded with a fresh 9 volt battery, including a set of transparent adhesive rubber feet.

As always, construction is point to point with all circuit components wired by hand on terminal strip board and directly onto each other.
