For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1965 Silvertone Bass 1444
Like Silvertone guitars, Silvertone basses were built by other companies (like Danelectro) and branded as Silvertone for sale by Sears. The 1444 Bass, produced from 1959-1965 was the bass counterpart to the 1416 guitar and was built by Danelectro in Neptune NJ. It has the Dolphin headstock and 4 on a side tuners with the lipstick tube pickup. Plays and sounds great!
