These are USED drums. They are used but not abused. They have been gigged a handful of times but always put in cases. There are some very slight cosmetic imperfections I will go over.
-there are a few small chips on the edges of the bass drum hoops. nothing major and no cracks. see picture for the worst part. Very very slight foot pedal rash but really not noticeable at all. -some of the hardware here and there have some slight surface scratches. nothing major or big problems. -almost all of the exterior shells are perfect. there maybe be very light surface scratches here and there but no big gashes or anything like that. I went over the drums and did not find anything worth taking a picture of.
Otherwise, this set is excellent. just a solid used kit that was taken care of very well for one that was gigged every now and then. the interior of the shells are excellent. all the drums have an inner badges that are beautiful. truly a gorgeous kit to look at. The Bubinga finish is all natural and you can tell because of the variation in the lacquer. Its like no two drums are exactly alike.
The heads are Remo Evans and Aquarian and are used but have lots of life left. I will let the new owner decide if they want to keep the heads or just replace them with their personal preference of brand.
These drums are powerhouses. They are meant for big venues and ultimate projection. There is no playing them quietly and you won't want to! Big sound!!! There is only a finite amount of Bubinga left in the world due to over harvesting, and Tama is only going to make Bubinga sets for only so much longer. Time will only tell when they stop Bubinga shell production. 



Very rare kit to see for sale. Super intricate lug design makes this one cool kit. Super heavy shell construction. These are probably heavier than Pearl's Reference series drums, making these drums absolute beasts.

Built from bubinga for tone
Drummers tend to bring out their best adjectives when describing the experience of playing on a bubinga drum set. Bubinga has been described as a wood that provides tones that are both "dark and mysterious, but with incredibly high overtones." Others aver that bubinga offers the powerful projection of birch with the warmth of maple.

Unique Omni-Tune Lug and key
The Omni-Tune Lug and Omni-Tune Drum Key allow you to tune both the top head and bottom head from the batter side. The Omni-Tune system expands and improves on the lug system invented in 1930 by drum designer William David Gladstone, which he created for snare drums. Star-Cast Mounting System for Maximum Resonance
The Star-Cast Mounting System has always provided maximum resonance and stability for TAMA's pro-drums. A streamlined design makes it easier to position toms closer together for greater ease and comfort than ever before. In addition, a switch to aluminum provides lighter weight and even truer tonal vibration. Last but not least, Star-Cast is now plated to match your drum's shell hardware!

Premium hardware
Hoops not only affect drum tuning; they also affect drum sound. That's why the choice of hoops was so important to the designers of TAMA's professional drum lines. For the Starclassic Series, Tama choose zinc die-cast hoops, which are manufactured by injecting molten metal into molds. Die-cast hoops have more density and are more consistent in shape than triple flanged hoops, which are manufactured by bending metal plates. Die-cast hoops make tuning more consistent and easier to achieve because the tension bolts always contact the hoop properly. Drums fitted with die-cast hoops also offer crisper attack, clear and resonant highs and much more powerful rim shots.

The Starclassic Bubinga Omni-Tune's claw hooks feature rubber spacers that help protect wood hoops from damage. The hooks and hoops work as one unit and won't separate or rattle, even on loose tunings. Starclassic's Air Pocket rubber feet feature a special air chamber, that eliminates the transfer of vibrations to the floor (which chokes sustain and sound) and absorbs shock for better playing. TAMA's MSB30 die-cast bracket holds the spur bracket securely, thanks to the same powerful hinge mechanism used on the MTB30 mounting bracket. Unique memory markers found on the folding spur bracket help simplify set up.
