Carvin V212 2x12" Vertical Speaker Cabinet With Speakers Unknown Dark Gray

This is an extremely well built 2x12 speaker cabinet containing Carvin "British Model" 12" , 8 Ohm speakers- speakers made by Eminence here in the USA. It is in great condition- descriptions state to list it as excellent it can have no marks / scratches and this cab does, although to an absolute minimum, have a few small scratches, specifically on the corner protectors and a partial patina on the input jacks. Therefore, I must list it as "Very Good".

The cab is made of 3/4" plywood, I believe the thin, outer layers are birch but I cannot say 100%. The outer layers are thinner; the inner layers numbering 5, so technically a 7 ply wood.

It is covered in a carpet like material, touch and NO rips, tears or other issues. It is clean inside and out. See last picture for acoustic material inside ab and speaker mounting hole (top speaker).

There are sturdy rubber "feet" on the bottom and on one side (cab can be used vertically or horizontally).

The speakers work flawlessly- great tone and in my opinion (and apparently many others, too) real 'sleepers' in the speaker world. Carvin does not make speakers and if you check the codes, do the research etc,, you'll see they are made by Eminence.

I got this to use with my modeling amp- sounds great but in reality, too much for me to lug to gigs, etc. Too big for my small 'studio' at home. Were I to have a large studio, this item would not be for sale. Yes, it's that good!

Cab is wired for either 4 or 16 ohm impedance, switchable on the rear of the cab (see picture of jack plate).

Dimensions are APPROXIMATE: 30" tall; 16" wide, 15" deep at it's deepest (it is a 'slant front' cab, slightly wider between the two, vertically mounted speakers).

Speakers are "bolt" mounted and all wiring, acoustic fill material, external and internal screws are present and accounted for! There are NO issues with this item and if works flawlessly.

Shipping for the cab is not something I want to delve into, so I'm listing 'local pickup', with the option that I will travel to meet for delivery within 30 miles of Quakertown, Pa., 18951.

Also, I may consider selling the speakers as a pair, apart from the cab. IF you want to make an offer, please specify if the offer is for the cab with speakers, or just the speakers. I WILL SHIP the speakers within Continental USA. I WILL NOT separate the speakers for sale (must buy both).

I try to price things to sell and recoup money out-layed for items I use- I'm not in the 'business' of buying and selling for profit (just ask my wife!). I pride myself on honesty, fairness and communication.
