I built this mandolin from rough lumber to what you see in the photos. The amount of time & care it takes to create one of these is substantial. But I absolutely love building, carving & creating these. Every single day I work tirelessly to improve these instruments, from fretwork & setup, to neck strength, build quality and construction methods.  To offer you an instrument that I truly believe to be of heirloom quality and one you will be not only be proud to own, but proud to play. Your instrument is your most important tool, I want to provide you with an instrument that inspires you and will not let you down. Trust me, I can't put 'em down, seriously so much fun to play.

After many frustrating years of buying instruments made with low quality components, fretwork and lumber, I decided to offer a change. You are not going to find this in a store and if you did, it would be nowhere near this price.

*This section is dedicated to the description of minor flaws or better considered, as an old friend of mine put it... "marks of craftsmanship".*This mandolin has a light/minor scratch from a string end.  Located near the 2nd A string tuning post.The finish on the back on the headstock isn't perfectly smooth.Other slight but very minor imperfections may be present, but again, this instrument is completely handmade in a humble workshop, not a factory and priced fairly.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase.

Returns are accepted.

In the event a return is requested, all shipping charges are to be paid for by the buyer and must include shipping insurance.
Item must be returned in original condition with original packaging and all contents.
(Bubble wrap, Box, Strings, Case, Hardware, ETC)

This is a small American workshop, that cannot offer "Risk free purchasing" or a free trial.

I am confident in the quality and durability of my instruments, I have also never had a mandolin returned for any reason.

I do not sell any instruments that I would not personally play or trust myself.

I understand it can be difficult to know if an instrument is right for you, and it can be very difficult to tell online.
You are buying what is pictured and I have done my absolute best to describe this item.

I only hope you understand where I'm coming from with this return policy.

Shipping & Communication:

Item may be shipped USPS, FEDEX or UPS at sellers discretion.
Signature confirmation is required.
Insurance included.
Item will typically be shipped within 2 business days after receiving cleared payment.
In the rare case an item is damaged during shipment, a case must be opened with the shipping carrier.
I will do everything I possibly can to help with a case.
I cannot file a claim without the item in my possession!

I have literally never had an issue with damage during shipment.

Entire transaction must be completed through Reverb, do not ask for an email/phone number to complete transaction.
Under NO circumstances will I ship to an address other than what is verified through your payment profile.

And I will not "delay shipment" if you are going out of town, please request your mail to be held via USPS.
