This is a B-stock Giannini. But lucky you, we only can see some irregularities in the grain of the spruce top, pictured. We'd like to say that wart gives it's sonic profile character, but then without another A-stock of the same model to compare her to, we'd be fibbing. Adopt her anyway. She sounds great.
We really like the sound of these Giannini's. Having selected entry level guitars for various nieces, nephews and friends' kids, we know a thing or two about the dross of the lower end.
And let us say, when we had the opportunity to sell Giannini's we were quite happy about it. They are as good quality as any entry level guitar suite, matching the Yamaha, but with a bit of soul that the Yamaha doesn't have. Even against our fave entry acoustic, the Hohner, they are warmer, fuller, more balanced and more soulful.
This one has a spruce top with maple back and sides. The nato neck is Asian mahogany and gives it a bit of warmth to balance the maple chime. Really quite a nice guitar.
Comes with Aurora strings and a quality new Gator bag.
