Old Jacobus Stainer violin that is a copy of an original. The luthier that restored it estimated the build date to be in the late 1800s / early 1900s and probably built in Germany.

- Deep body 4/4 (full) size violin
- Beautiful dark reddish/brown finish with amber highlights
- No open seams or cracks
- The violin has the nicks, scratches and general wear that you would expect of a violin of this age and character
- Fully restored by a professional luthier: new ebony pegs; new fitted and tuned bridge; new chin rest; flank repair in the A string area; and expertly crafted peg bushings (all are normal for a violin of this age)
- BRAND NEW set of Peter Infeld PI100 Synthetic Core strings are installed. These are professional grade strings that retail for over $200 per set
