This is kind of an oddball guitar. CMI was owned by Gibson/Norlin at this time, but this guitar is definitely imported from Japan. Not sure much else for its history.
Very lighweight, easy to play. Decent action. Pickups sound like hot Telecaster style pickups. Grewt twang, decent rock tones. Pots not scratchy, and everything functions.
