1979 Ovation Balladeer Artist model 1121. Rare Sunburst finish. Serial number 175086.The Artist model was the mid shallow bowl back that other models, such as the Glen Campbell Artist, were based on.  Overall condition is excellent. There are a few dings on the top and typical Ovation lacquer  checking eminating from bridge area (see pics). The neck is perfectly straight and virtually flawless, with minimal fretwear and no sign of wear and minimal finish checking on back of neck. This Balladeer has been professionally set up and plays exceptionally well with string height at a comfortable 3/16" at the 12th fret. The bridge is tight to the top with plenty of saddle height. Small pad for leg on back of bowl is long gone. An absolute delight to play with a well-balanced sound and lots of  lively acoustic projection. If you've always found full depth Ovation guitars uncomfortable and shallow bowls lacking in volume, this is the perfect design for comfort while still maintaining proper sonic balance and bass response. All original with Ovation hardshell case ( small crack see pics). Low playing hours, perfect action/playability and ready to be played. Shipping is only an estimate buyer pays actual shipping cost including insurance.
