This is the Holy Grail of Sunn Amps!! Extremely Rare!! This is the same model Hendrix used when he signed his agreement with Sunn! Pete Townshend and The Beachboys all have used this amazing all tube head!!
The Amp is from 1968, and was recently completely serviced, new 3 prong chord, it is ready to rock!! Mostly original tubes, all original transformers and electronics...
To make it even better, this has the HENDRIX MOD!! Channel 3 is fed into channel 4 for a high gain channel with inputs 3 and 4 being a Hi and Lo input like a classic Marshall. Channels 1 and 2 function normally just like the stock P.A. head would operate. It ranges from clean and open, to mean and dirty to super over driven lead awesomeness!!
I love this amp, but its just too loud for me to play (120 watt RMS) so I have to let it go..
It is extremely heavy, because of that, I am currently posting it for local pickup only. If you are serious about the amp, I can look into pricing for shipping to you zip. Just let me know.
