The TV
Jones Super'Tron has all the heart of the 1960s pickup of the same name,
with a slightly more defined output and a super sweet breakup. The
Super'Tron uses blades rather than pole pieces for greater inductance
and excellent volume retention between strings — a definite plus for
benders, detuners, and those of us who play "between the notes." TV
Jones's Super'Tron sports some improvements over the brittler-sounding
'60s style: its even, mellow voice and twangy bite complement just about
any style of music, from jazz to punk rock. The neck position
Super'Tron is robust and clear with a smooth, jazzy midrange.
