Fender Stratocaster Plus Strat Plus 1989 Maroon electric guitar original W/OHSC.

 Last price drop! Guitar stays at this price until it sells. For sale a 1989 Fender Stratocaster Plus in the very rare and gorgeous Maroon color. The guitar is in excellent shape! The 3 blemishes or dents on the back of the neck have been professionally repaired. The back of the neck feels great! You cannot feel the dents. The pickguard had some letters like a sticker or something, that when removed shows the original color of the pickguard, it is not noticeable unless you are close, it doesn't really mean anything and you could probably buff it out if wanted, but I try to disclose everything.

Now back to the guitar. This is a early Strat plus in fantastic shape! The first 3 years are considered the best and most collectable. The Maroon color is very rare. The frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. The neck is smooth and feels great, and like I said the blemishes on the back of the neck have been repaired. The body has just a few dings on the edges (about 3) they are pictured. The front and back are in fantastic shape with any dings to small to photo. The back has no buckle rash, just some very light fine scratches that you have to look for, they can probably be buffed out.

The Guitar is 25 years old and has a little body checking. The headstock is like new, the tuners and bridge are in excellent shape. Just look at the 38 big pictures, this Strat Plus is in excellent shape.

The pot codes date 1989, and the pickups are the original smooth top flush lettering Gold Lace Sensors. I believe these early Strat Plus guitars are the best guitars Fender ever made. TBX Tone control works fine. No scratchy pots! Set-up and intonated and has new 10-46 Ernie Ball strings.

Guitar also comes with the original case that is not in new shape but works fine.
