The Orville by Gibson LPS-R Limited Edition is a model that was created in a extra limited number (only 2 of this are known and this is the only one for sale in the world) in 1994 to be exhibited on that year’s catalogue cover and is known precisely as Catalogue Model.

Excellently finished, it has the long tenon neck like REAL Vintage GIbsons.
Unfortunately the photographs fail to fully render its beauty,
The excellent oil finished hi grade mahogany body (Honduran? Philippine Narra?) is really light and simply sensual to touch and sight. It is adorned with a 5 ply maple/rosewood binding closed by a piece of ebony on the horn point of the cutaway.
The fast and comfortable oil finished neck is made of the same hi grade mahogany, contoured with a maple binding and is a real joy to the hand.
The fretboard is made of extremely dark Rosewood (Brazilian? Indian?)
and the splendid mother of pearl inlay was left in its warm and luminous honey natural color, without undergoing whitening treatments.
The pickups are its original Gibson Patent Sticker PAF.

A fascinating impossibily rare instrument, which will enrich the Vintage Les Paul lover's collection, just like other Vintage high-level MIJ like Greco, Burny, Tokai, Bacchus but even better being a "one of a kind".

It will be sold with a generic vintage hard case (not the one in the pictures) and its original PAF (now there are 2 old T-top installed).
