Taylor Rare Limited Edition 414MA “Legends of the Fall” Guitar with Hardshell Case

A 2000 Taylor 414-MA “Legends of the Fall” acoustic guitar in excellent condition with its original hardshell case. This is a sweet instrument that plays great and sounds incredible. A solid Sitka spruce top provides a good amount of booming sustain and projection. Beautiful unfigured maple back and sides are not only attractive but is also highly dense and reflective, yielding a loud, projective and sustained tone. This is a very rare limited edition guitar. Only 115 of this model were made, and this one is in excellent condition! The “Legends of the Fall” Series from Taylor was introduced in 2000 and consisted of 320 guitars, intended as a gift to Taylor fans to celebrate the end of the millennium and the promise of the future. A special inlay, on top of the back near the heelcap, is a signifier of the series. This inlay allegedly began as a doodle and originated straight from Bob’s desk, along with the idea for the series. This is an opportunity to own a truly magnificent piece of Taylor guitar history at an incredible price. Checked by our in-house technician, the 414ma has very light fretwear and some minor playwear.
