Hoyer guitars hail from Tennenlohe in Germany where they were made by Arnold Hoyer throughout the 40’s to the late 60’s. Interestingly, Eric Clapton started out on a Hoyer guitar!  This handsome-looking vintage Hoyer has a fat, full neck that feels great, and a sweet, crisp acoustic tone that rings like a bell. This would have been a student version in its day and is essentially a laminated top, back and sides guitar but actually sounds really nice. The finish shows checking all over that adds to it its vintage vibe. The Arnold Hoyer decal is still intact on the top of the guitar and pearloid fret makers still look awesome! This one comes with its original hard shell case. (OHSC).
