Selling a fantastic Calicchio R32 Bb Trumpet, serial number 6836.
For Calicchio enthusiasts, this serial range puts it right in the highly sought-after Hollywood/John Duda transitional era (circa 2002–2003). Built using premium Hollywood parts just before the shop transitioned to Tulsa under Duda, these horns are legendary for their exceptional build quality, slotting, and massive commercial sound.
The Configuration:
The R32 features a quick-flare #3 red brass bell paired with a free-blowing #2 leadpipe. It gives you a wonderfully rich, warm core with that classic Calicchio "sizzle" when you push it. It is incredibly versatile—perfect for jazz, commercial work, or big band lead.
Condition & Aesthetics:
• Mechanical Condition: Excellent. The valves have crisp, tight compression, and all slides move effortlessly. Ready to play straight out of the box.
• Finish: Silver plated valve section and raw brass bell and tuning slides. Please see pictures for the wear on the silver plate.
No case included.
