Marantz 2110 FM/AM TUNER with Perfectly Working Scope & recent $700 Service

Up for sale is my vintage MARANTZ 2110 FM/AM TUNER with PERFECTLY WORKING SCOPE.

This example of Marantz's iconic 2110 has to be one of the finest examples available on today's pre-owned market.

The silver faceplate is nearly blemish free and shows no signs of fading or staining. All the corners are dent-free and crisp. All the black lettering is intact and still presents as sharp and clean. All the fasteners are original as are all the buttons and knobs. The tuning glass is free of scratches, cloudiness or any other imperfections, the gyro wheel feels fantastic and the rubber ring around it has no cracks. The tuning lamps have been changed to soft blue LED's, as well. The glorious scope is still bright and sharp and works in both tuning mode and external signal mode. The only flaw that is difficult to see but is there, is the plexiglass covering the scope has started to delaminate, which is common. This is not the scope itself, does not affect its operation and is only visible in certain light when the scope is in the OFF position - see close-up photo. The entire case is mostly free of scratches save for a few minor ones here and there.

The sale includes just the tuner and no other accessories. It will ship in a late model, double Marantz receiver box with appropriate foam packing - no bubble wrap or peanuts!

Lastly, it has been displayed in a non-smoking, incense free, child free, pet free and cologne and perfume free home and is guaranteed to be free of any greasy fingerprints, strange odors or any other funk!

I have owned this tuner for about 30 years and have used it VERY sparingly as I also own a Crown FM1, a Luxman T-4 and a Day-Sequerra FM Reference (which has served as my main tuner). I'm thinning out my collection so the Marantz, Luxman and Sequerra are currently for sale.
