As many of you may know, the Master Series is the creme de la creme of the Bosphorus Traditional line. It’s more refined than the Traditional and has a particular light, airiness to it. Like an extra gear of lightness!
Weighing in at a featherweight factory 1378 grams, this Bosphorus Master 19” plays like a great Papery LIGHT COMPLEX CRASH or Crash Ride. The edges are thin and wobble and this 19” has a broad spread.
The tone is exceptionally warm, organic and complex.
Great warm, woody stick attack, followed by a complex but balanced Hand Hammered wash that is a bit controlled--compliments of the smaller 19” size.
Very paper-y, golden shimmer on top! Incredibly responsive at low volumes. Perfect for very quiet to medium loud settings.
