14x8” Tama Mastercraft Artwood - Roller-Action strainer - Piano Black

Up for sale is a highly collectible, early-era TAMA Mastercraft Artwood Snare Drum in original Piano Black Lacquer. Made in Japan.

This model features a pure 6-digit serial number badge (039418).

This specific drum came factory-clean without an internal tone muffler—there are zero holes or drill mounts for one, keeping the structural integrity of the 9mm 6-ply Birch shell perfectly intact.

These Artwood drums are famous for their massive projection, clean crack, and exceptional sensitivity.

THE STRENGTHS (100% Functional & Original Hardware):

• Superstar-Era Block Lugs & Mighty Hoops: Heavy-duty chrome lugs and triple-flanged hoops are structurally perfect with completely clean threads.

THE FLAWS (Honest "Player's Condition" Disclosure):

• Cosmetic Lacquer Chips: This is a 30+ year-old studio workhorse. As shown clearly in the photos, there are standard cosmetic chips and scuffs on the Piano Black lacquer finish.
