For sale is the beloved Sennheiser MD 409 from the 1990s in perfect functional shape! This MD 409 was used in a climate controlled environment and never opened before. Cosmetically it looks fantastic with extremely minimal signs of wear. I received a few microphones from the original owner including another 409 and can confirm both are working to specifications (they sound the exact same).
The only cons with this MD 409 and virtually all of them on the market is the foam inside will be due for a replacement. As a result, you will be receiving a foam replacement kit that has 3 different foam pieces to change out the old foam. To replace the foam it is fairly straightforward but you should know how to do extremely basic soldering or just send it to someone for the job.
If you want a healthy MD 409 that works as it should and do not mind putting in a bit of work, this one is perfect!
