About This Listing

While you are scratching your head...Gibson and Fender both made a very bizarre guitar models called The Marauder.

Fender made their infamous one in 1965 with the hidden pickups that never made it beyond the prototype stage.  Then they made the Modern Player ones which are spectacular, but only lasted from 2011 - 2013.  They have the infamous triple bucker and the fat single coil in the neck that got rave reviews.

Gibson made about 7000 of their Marauders between 1975 and 1979.  I acquired what I believe is to be one of 460 Ebony colored ones.  (research yourself) What was great about this guitar is that it had a bolt on neck.

So I took a Gibson and a Fender Marauder .....and made a Gibder and a Fenson Marauder!  They are both AMAZING!!!  They sound great, play great ....and people freak trying to figure what they hell they are.

The Gibson neck has an incredibly cool relic thing happening.  The frets are low but playable now.
