PHILIPS CDR880/17 Audio Compact Disc CD Player Recorder Belgium NEW BELT READ

Player is in good used condition, and has been serviced by myself personally. The unit was in need of a new belt when I first acquired it, so I have since disassembled the loading mechanism and installed a new one. While I had the unit apart, I cleaned the interior with compressed air, and polished the laser lens with isopropyl alcohol. The unit is able to track and play any commercial music CD that is loaded into it, while showing no incongruities in playback quality that I have heard. Only function that has not been tested is recording, so that is presumed to be non-operational. Unit will be sold AS-IS described, and will not be eligible for returns whatsoever.

Player is in decent shape cosmetically, showing some signs of age-related wear around the exterior. No notable points of damage inflicted along any edge or face of the units metal housing or front display. All buttons along the face are appropriately responsive to their designated action, and the display screen shines brightly when the unit is on and running. Unfortunately the player does not include a remote control, but will be shipped with a set of stereo L/R RCAs as shown in the listing images. See all pictures closely for details of condition, and specifications of the item.
