Beautiful antique Lyon & Healy Mystic open-back 5-string banjo dating to approximately 1900. Features an ornate inlaid fingerboard, decorative headstock, vintage tuning hardware, and Mystic/Lyon & Healy identification plate.
This is an authentic vintage/antique instrument showing substantial age-related wear and patina. The metal hardware has visible oxidation and tarnishing, and the banjo head has significant discoloration and staining from age. The wood and finish also show scratches, scuffs, and general wear consistent with its age.
The banjo is being sold as pictured and as-is. I have not had it professionally inspected or restored, so I cannot guarantee playability, neck straightness, setup, or originality of every component. Please carefully review all photographs for condition.
