F-style mandolin, Oscar Schmidt OM40
- spruce top, maple back & sides, mahogany neck
- F-Holes
- includes optional gig-bag NEW Oct 2026, Eastman branded (~$100 value: buy for gigbag, get a bonus mando!)
- free shipping box ready to go,
- domestic Canada $20 shipping, or free pickup in central Montreal (eg Laurier Stn)
Issue:
- top-wood flex in arch at bass-side sound-hole necessitates high-set bridge, still leaving slight buzz at high frets
- lower 10-12 frets sound clear, perfectly playable for beginner/intermediate level learning, simple chopping
- The perfect mando for a guitarist! lol
