JZ Trumpet – Brass Finish – Includes Case – Used, Poor Condition – Stuck Tuning Slide

For sale is a JZ trumpet in used, poor condition. This instrument is being sold as a project/repair trumpet due to a stuck tuning slide and its overall cosmetic condition.

The trumpet has a traditional brass/lacquer finish with contrasting silver-colored trim and tubing. The bell features the JZ logo, and the instrument is marked with serial/identification number 032713.

The trumpet shows significant cosmetic wear throughout from previous use and age. There are numerous scratches, scuffs, finish wear, discoloration, tarnishing, oxidation, and areas where the lacquer/plating has worn away. This is particularly noticeable around the valve casing, tuning-slide areas, tubing, and other frequently handled sections. The bell also shows surface wear and scratches.

Important: The tuning slide is stuck and will need attention/service. Because of this issue and the overall condition, we recommend having the trumpet inspected and serviced by a qualified brass technician before regular use.

The three piston valves, valve buttons, finger rings, water keys, and other visible hardware are present. A 7C mouthpiece is also included.
