About this listing
Here we have the MK1 ThorpyFX The Dane dual boost and overdrive pedal. The boost is quite frankly the nicest boost I've ever come across and so good Thorpy took it and put it in a stand alone pedal named the heavy water. Two simple controls for it, boost and low. Plenty of boost on tap and the low control is just fantastic at letting you dial in just the right amount of bottom end. The overdrive side contrary to what you read on line is not based per say on another overdrive but created to give Danish Pete the sound he was looking for which is a transparent articulate low to medium gain overdrive thats designed to really interact with your guitars vol and tone. They nailed it. The overdrive is just wonderful. Now the pedal is set for boost into overdrive and that order cannot be changed. This pedal can do everything from edge of breakup to full high gain by boosting that OD side. The MK1s are the slightly larger enclosures but personally I prefer them as the foot switches are the perfect distance apart. Not too close that you will accidentally hit the other but not too far that you cannot easily step on both at the same time. It's a wonderful gain pedal that has become Thorpy's biggest seller and when you plug it in its easy to see why. Thanks for looking, please check out my other pedals for sale. New stock coming in all the time.
