Restored 1933 Gibson Century of progress mandolin made for the 1933 Centennial World's Fair in Chicago. This little Jewel is definitely more of a players Mandolin than a collectors Mandolin and is in good to fair outside condition but can really out sing any fancy one. I replaced the cheapo tuners that were on there with older Gibson tuners and the bridge is an excellent Cumberland ebony one. Also the Tailpiece cover is not original. Looks like it was refretted at one time and the frets are in good shape. Has real low action and plays like butter and has a nice rich bass and super nice bell like highs when played up high on the neck. Comes with a new hard shell case.
