1980s Gretsch Progressive Jazz Drum Set Natural 20/12/14

For your prime viewing delight is this ultra cool 1980s Gretsch square badge Progressive Jazz outfit in a beautiful Natural finish. This is a unique set that was special ordered from the factory with Yamaha tom mounts, a Yamaha tom arm, and Yamaha bass drum legs in place of the standard Gretsch hardware. A rare and desirable combination you don't see every day. The mufflers on floor tom were removed prior to us having it, and the 12" tom is not drilled for mufflers. The front wood bass hoop has the two small factory holes from where the G4969 Cyclops bass anchor was originally installed.

This kit shows typical signs of age and use for a drum set of this vintage, including crazing and scratches to the finish, along with other marks on the shells and hoops. It's all original and in Very Good, ready-to-gig playing condition overall.

These Jasper 6-ply maple/gum shell drums deliver that classic warm, punchy Gretsch tone that's made the Progressive Jazz line a favorite among jazz and bop drummers for decades. Enjoy!
