This is a rare Superdrum. Its steel shelled is 4x14, with 12 tuning lugs. 12 lugs allow for more precise tuning and the additional mass on the shell reduces the high-end pingy overtone normally associated with steel shells. You end up with a nicely focused and crisp sounding snare. I have used this only 2-3 times in a studio in Nashville. But never toured. Killer snare!
