Here’s a Rare Vintage Sixties Barney Kessel Style Electric Guitar that sounds and plays very nice, and is in excellent condition for its age.
Made by Fujigen Gakki in the mid sixties, and sold under different brand names such as Apollo, Fiama, Heit, and a few others. This is as solid as a rock with no cracks, breaks, or repairs, and appears to be all original and complete.
The pickups and controls are all working, and sound great. This still has the original whammy bar, original bridge with adjustable saddles and mute bar.
The adjustable neck is straight with no twists or warping, and the action is clean up and down the entire fretboard. The frets show very minor wear, and have plenty of life left in them.
The chrome is in nice condition, could use cleaned up a bit. There are a few scuffs and scratches, which is typical of these older guitars.
The body shows the typical checking that you see in most guitars of this era.
I have tried to show as much in the photos as possible. Please use the magnifier to view it in detail.
Comes with what appears to be the original case.
Shipping is UPS or Fed-Ex, but we sometimes will ship Priority Mail for faster delivery depending on its destination. I am not shipping internationally at this time, and can only ship to addresses within the US.
