Epiphone FT-79 Texan, Sunburst (1967)

The cool meter is banging against the edge of the dial with this 1967 Epiphone Texan! Sensational looks and vibe, and -- we know you hear this a lot, but indulge us -- amongst the best sounding examples of this model we can remember. Fans of the narrow-necked Texans will find nothing not to love about this guitar. The voice is strong, clear, and warm, with terrific string-to-string balance, and a beautiful, punchy midrange which adds an extra-articulate quality to fingerpicked passages.

This instrument is in what we'd call good overall vintage condition. There are two top cracks, which our shop has repaired, and an old repaired headstock crack which has been touched up in our shop. The finish and original hardware are in lovely, undisturbed condition.
