Rare 1994 Gibson Les Paul Special limited run in Vintage Cherry, with factory Custom Shop decal on the back of the headstock.
This is a very cool early-’90s Gibson double cut with two P-90 pickups, wraparound bridge, four controls, and a toggle switch. Great stripped-down Les Paul feel with plenty of P-90 bite, midrange, and resonance.
I contacted Gibson with the serial number, and they confirmed it as a 1994 limited-run Les Paul Double Cutaway model in Vintage Cherry, released outside the core product line.
The guitar is in very good condition overall for its age, with normal signs of use, small marks, and finish wear. A previous owner had relocated the strap button to the upper horn. It has since been professionally returned to the original position, with the extra hole professionally filled/touched up. The repair is visible on close inspection and is shown clearly in the photos.
The guitar appears original otherwise. CTS pot codes date to 1993/1994, which lines up with the 1994 Gibson serial number format.
Comes with Gibson hardshell case.
