Ayotte Custom 4-piece Drum Kit 10,12,14,20 Ray Era Early 90's

Here is a yet another example of the tremendous skill of Ray Ayotte - early 90's 4-piece Ayotte Custom drum kit in extremely playable dimensions. So many of the kits from this era had oversized power toms. Rare to find one with a more traditional bop or fusion setup. I am the second owner of this kit. It came from a studio setting and has been in my living room for the past four years. There are the typical signs of use, though nothing more than a scratch here and there. The shells themselves are in amazing condition. The bearing edges are perfect and the hardware all functions exactly as it should. This is a truly amazing set of drums.

All drums are 6-ply Canadian sugar maple with 6-ply reinforcement rings

9x12- serial 1112

14x14 with legs (missing air hole grommet) - serial 1111

16x20 with old style Ayotte spurs and Tama bass drum mount (installed professionally, very clean) - serial 1115

Bass drum heads are brand new. Toms reso heads are all evans Ec Reso in mint condition. Tom batters are Evans EC2s in good shape (12" is virtually unused)

Set includes RIMS mounts with your choice of Pearl or DW style mount bracket.
